CHANGE

Overview: About New Ethos House.  In 2020 a group of like-minded individuals made it their mission to set up a supported accommodation hostel for people in touch with the judicial system.  Having worked within the field for a collective of 85 years+, the team at New Ethos House identified gaps in the service provision for ex-offenders and noted the lack of appropriate housing available to them upon release; thus the concept of New Ethos House was born

Our Vision

  • To work in partnership with others towards alleviating homelessness by giving people the opportunity to exercise their right to have a home

Our Mission

  • To provide homeless adults with a good standard of single-room accommodation, with support, to empower and enable them to move on into independent living.

Our Aim

  • We aim to help homeless people make the journey from homelessness to living independently in their own long-term tenancy. We do this by helping people make decisions about their life and assisting them with problems that could prevent a successful transition. This not only benefits residents but adds value to the community by helping to prevent societal issues such as homelessness, poverty, mental health issues, and the risk of abuse.

Our Objective

  • To offer single room accommodation and support and supervise to those who may/have misused substances whilst ensuring service users are safeguarded within multi-agency frameworks

.New Ethos Nottingham Housing is a non for profit voluntary organisation which is part of Nottingham's approved provider's directory, we have successfully been added to DASH Services list of providers.
